Pressure

To be something is not to belong.

โ€œWeโ€™re the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great Warโ€™s a spiritual warโ€ฆ our Great Depression is our lives. Weโ€™ve all been raised on television to believe that one day weโ€™d all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we wonโ€™t. And weโ€™re slowly learning that fact. And weโ€™re very, very pissed off.โ€ - Chuck Palahniuk, Fight Club

Pressure, which is an illusion of the social reality we live in, is a psychological phenomenon that integrates with imposition. Credit cards, salaries, payments, work, marriage, being an individual, buying furniture, buying a car and many other imposing responsibilities also put an invisible pressure on us. To be something is not to belong. The only place we have to belong is our minds and to be one with the peace in our inner world without succumbing to pressure, just to be ourselves.
